The mailboxes affecting the following streets, Halliwell, Whistler Ct, Kayla Ct, Fox Sterling Dr, Sarah Ln, Sterlingworth Dr, Iver Johnson Dr, Ithaca Ln and Murad Ct have been updated to meet with USPS guidelines. Your new mailbox keys are located at the Sentry Office, the address can be seen below. Please note, all owners who have tenants can email Raleigh@SentryMGT.com with your address and the tenant’s name if they will be retrieving the keys. We also ask that you forward this message to your tenant.

 

For those whose mail cluster was located on the middle of the hill on Halliwell, your box had to be moved to the top of Halliwell Hill. USPS felt the cluster location on the inclined hill presented a fall hazard to the carriers and homeowners and requested the change in location. You will not need news keys as the keys retrieved earlier this year are the same.

 

All keys will be made available Wednesday, 18 December at 9:30AM. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:30AM to 5PM. Our offices will be closed on the 24th, 25th and 26th of December.

Status:  Installation Complete

 

Due to the mature age of the community several trees in the community areas will need extensive trimming to prevent any damage to properties.  Monster Tree will conduct the work in 3 phases to clean up any dead or rotting trees in the community.

Status:  Complete

 

In partnership with the City of Raleigh, it has agreed to pay for half of the total cost to prevent further erosion from the nearby creek.  Several homes are in danger of compromised foundations from bank erosion caused by the creek under Burgess Court.

Update:  1st Phase Complete, and new culverts installed under Burgess

Current Status: 2nd Phase is currently under design review with the city.

2nd Phase is adding retaining walls to keep the stream from cutting further into the bank along property lines on Kayla Court.

 

Repaving of streets and parking spaces.  Due to the age of the existing asphalt all roads, parking lots, and parking spaces will be completely repaved.  The plan is to do it in sections since the the existing asphalt will need to be removed, so parking will be impacted.
